• Indian National Flag in its present form was adopted by constituent assembly on 22nd July 1947. 

• The flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya

• The National Flag are manufactured by karnataka khadi gramodyga Samyukta Sangha(KKGS),HUBLI.

• Tiranga First flew into the space for the first time on appolo-15 in 1984 as a medallion on the spacesuit worn by RAKESH SHARMA.

• On May,29,1953 Tiranga was first hosted on Mt Everest by Tenzing Norgay.
