1. Jitu Rai shoots silver at World Cup in Italy
Ace Indian shooter Jitu Rai clinched a silver medal in the 50m pistol event of the ISSF World Cup Final.
Jitu shot a score of 188.8 to finish behind China's Wei Pang (190.6). Italy's Giuseppe Giordano settled for the bronze medal with a score of 170.3 in the final.
2. Tata strikes deal with South African car hire company
Automobile manufacturer Tata has struck a deal with a major South African car hire company to supply Tata Bolt 1.2 Turbo hatchbacks for its national rental fleet.
The Bolt, which was recently introduced in South Africa, will be offered at a competitive hire charge which will be one of the lowest in the country, including 100 kilometres free per day and standard insurance cover.
"We are very pleased to have secured this order as it will mean that many renters countrywide will now have the opportunity to experience the quality and benefits offered in our newest car range, which is particularly well equipped for an entry level model," TOLD Kyri Michael, the CEO of Accordian Investments.
3. Sikkim CM conferred with 'Sustainable Dev Leadership Award'
Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling conferred with the 'Sustainable Development Leadership Award' by President Pranab Mukherjee in recognition of his leadership in making the northeastern state the first and only organic state in the country.

5. Intex partners with Tata's mRUPEE for mobile wallet service
Domestic handset maker Intex has partnered with mRUPEE, a Tata Teleservices subsidiary, to launch mobile wallet 'Intex MyWallet'.
The wallet will offer easy and quick integrated payment functionalities and conveniences within the device related to recharge, money transfer, shopping, booking train, movie, bus tickets and more in just one click, Intex said in a statement.
